Who we are
DajaraPay ("we", "us") provides a multi-currency wallet and cross-border payment service for traders in Africa, with an initial focus on the Zimbabwe–South Africa corridor.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
- Identity data: information you provide for verification (KYC) where required.
- Transaction data: wallet balances, transfers, FX conversions, and dispute records.
- Device data: IP address, browser/OS, and usage events for security and product improvement.
How we use it
- To operate your wallet, process payments, and complete FX conversions.
- To prevent fraud, meet legal/regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes.
- To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
Sharing
We share data only with payment processors (e.g. Flutterwave/M-Pesa), identity verification providers, hosting/database providers, and regulators when required by law. We do not sell your data.
Data retention
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by applicable financial regulations after account closure.
Your rights

Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Wallet balances are stored in a double-entry ledger with role-based access controls.
